Last updated: 25 August 2026. This policy explains how ElyonX handles personal information collected through elyonx.com. It does not cover information you give us outside this website, such as in a contract or a consortium agreement, which is governed by that agreement.

What personal information means

Personal information is any information that identifies you, relates to you, or can reasonably be linked to you. It does not include information that has been aggregated or de-identified so that it can no longer be connected to a person.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit the contact form, we receive your name, organisation, email address and the description you write. If you fill them in, we also receive your role, phone number, country, the area you are interested in, the type of collaboration you are proposing, and any file you attach.

Information collected automatically. This website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no advertising or social media trackers, and loads nothing from a third-party server — the typefaces are served from this domain rather than from a font provider. The only automatic collection is the standard web-server log kept by our hosting provider, which records IP addresses, requested pages, timestamps and browser identifiers for security and diagnostics.

Sources. We collect personal information only from you directly. We do not buy contact data, and we do not build profiles from information brokers or social media.

How we use it

We use the information you send us in order to:

• reply to your enquiry and continue the conversation that follows from it
• assess a proposed collaboration, consortium or advisory engagement
• keep a record of the discussion while it is active
• protect the website and our systems against misuse
• meet obligations the law places on us

We do not use it for advertising, we do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not make automated decisions about you.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertising networks. It is disclosed only to:

• our hosting and email providers, who process it on our instructions in order to run the website and deliver our mail
• professional advisers, where we need advice on a matter your enquiry raises
• a public authority, where the law requires us to disclose it
• a party to a merger, acquisition or transfer of the business, if that ever occurs

Legal bases for processing

Where the EU or UK General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on the following bases. Consent, which you give by ticking the box on the contact form and may withdraw at any time. Legitimate interests, in responding to enquiries about our work and in keeping our systems secure. Performance of a contract, where our discussion becomes an engagement. And legal obligation, where a law requires us to keep or disclose something.

Your rights

Subject to the law that applies to you, you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive it in a portable form, and to withdraw consent you previously gave. Exercising any of these will not cause us to treat you differently.

To exercise a right, write to the address at the end of this policy. We will respond within the period the applicable law allows. If you are in the EU or the UK and you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to your national supervisory authority.

How long we keep it

How long we keep something depends on why we hold it. An enquiry that does not lead anywhere is deleted once it is clear the conversation has ended. An enquiry that becomes a collaboration is kept for as long as that relationship lasts, and afterwards for as long as we may need it to defend a legal claim. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider under their own retention schedule.

Where it is stored, and international transfers

ElyonX is established in Israel, and personal information you send us is handled there and on servers operated by our hosting provider. For visitors in the European Economic Area, transfers to Israel are covered by the European Commission's adequacy decision for Israel, which recognises Israeli law as providing an adequate level of protection. Where a transfer falls outside that decision, we rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encryption of the connection to this website. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies, pixels, web beacons, session recording, or any other tracking technology, and it therefore has no cookie banner and no cookie settings to manage. If that changes, this policy will change with it and the change will be described here.

Children

This website is directed at professional and organisational audiences and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other websites

Some pages link to standards bodies, funding programmes and partner organisations. Those websites are not operated by us and are not covered by this policy. Their own privacy notices apply once you leave this site.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website or the law changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. A material change will be made prominent on this page.
